Neighray has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), and for child sexual abuse material (CSAM). This page sets out our standards. It applies to everything on Neighray: profiles, rooms, direct messages, the Feed, the Market, business profiles and reviews.
Our standards
- Neighray is for adults only. Everyone must be 18 or older. We ask for your birth year and refuse anyone under 18. If we learn that a user is under 18, we delete their account.
- It is forbidden to post, share, request or link to any content that sexualises, exploits or endangers a child. This includes:
- images, videos, drawings and text;
- grooming, or trying to contact or meet a child for sexual purposes;
- sextortion;
- trafficking;
- selling or advertising anything that exploits children.
How to report
- In the app: use Report on the message, room, person, listing or business. We treat reports involving children as our top priority.
- By email: [email protected], with "Child safety" in the subject. Don't attach or forward abusive images; describe where you saw them.
- By WhatsApp: +92 321 4755568. The same applies: never send the images themselves.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact the police (15) straight away.
What we do
When we find or are told about CSAE or CSAM, we:
- remove the content and permanently ban the account and any linked accounts;
- keep the evidence securely, as needed to report it;
- report it to the authorities, including the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) in Pakistan, and to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) where it applies;
- cooperate with law-enforcement requests made under the law.
Our safety measures
- An 18+ age requirement, checked when you sign up.
- In-app reporting and blocking on every message, room, profile, listing and business.
- A copy is kept of reported rooms and chats (their last 30 messages), so evidence survives even though messages disappear.
- Verification with a live selfie for the Market and for orders.
- Accounts that break these rules are banned.
